The recognition received by PemaGatshel Dzongkhag at the first-ever Civil Service Innovation Day during 15–16 June 2026 is a testament to the power of collective effort, demonstrating how home-grown solutions can transform public service delivery and contribute meaningfully to national development. It serves as a reminder of taking small, conscious steps every day towards the vision of His Majesty for E2B.
The Silver Award in the Best Governance Innovation category under the Innovate for E2B Project Initiative was for the pioneering innovation titled “Teacher Performance Dashboard: A Data-Driven Pathway to Teacher Excellence and System Efficiency.” The innovation introduces a comprehensive, evidence-based platform that strengthens teacher performance management through data-driven decision-making, enabling school leaders and education administrators to better support professional growth, instructional quality, and overall system efficiency.
This achievement is the culmination of a shared vision that was nurtured under the guidance of Dasho Dzongdag and Dasho Dzongrab. The project was further strengthened through the invaluable contributions of the sector heads of the Dzongkhag Administration, school principals, teachers, and support staff, whose commitment, ideas, and collaborative spirit transformed the concept into a practical and impactful governance solution.
The Dzongkhag would also like to thank the RCSC for this forum and for its steadfast support and guidance towards innovation in enhancing public service delivery.
On behalf of the Education team, the Chief DEO presented the Silver Medal to the Dzongkhag Administration today. As the Silver Medal finds its place within the Dzongkhag Administration, may this milestone inspire greater innovation across all sectors, encouraging the development of transformative solutions that enhance governance, strengthen service delivery, and ultimately improve the lives of the people we serve.
