Dasho conducted his first official meeting with the staff of Pemagatshel Dzongkhag Headquarters as the newly appointed Dzongdag, marking an important step forward in his leadership journey. He expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome during the Tendrel Ceremony and took the opportunity to share his vision for the future of the Dzongkhag. Dasho outlined five key focus areas that will be instrumental in driving development:

1. National Solidarity
2. Promotion of National and Regional Tourist Visits
3. One Gewog, One Product
4. Disaster Preparedness
5. Enhancement of Public Service Delivery

To ensure a collaborative approach to these objectives, Dasho emphasized the importance of teamwork, coordination, and collective effort across all levels of the organization.

To better align with the Dzongkhag’s strategic initiatives, sixteen sector heads presented updates on the 13th Five-Year Plan (13FYP). Their insights covered sector mandates, achievements, challenges, and innovative strategies for overcoming obstacles, as well as the strengths of the staff and the institutions supporting Pemagatshel Dzongkhag.

Concluding the meeting, Dasho expressed his enthusiasm for the journey ahead and reaffirmed his commitment to achieving our collective goals. He inspired the team with the words of John F. Kennedy: “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country,” highlighting the transformative power of individual contributions to the greater good.
