The Pemagatshel Dzongkhag Administration today handed over essential educational and boarding items to the host Principals for 21 students from Thongsa ECR and Khenadrang ECR who were admitted to other schools following the closure of the two Extended Classrooms (ECRs) at the beginning of the 2026 academic year. Each student received a comprehensive package comprising bedding sets, school uniforms, school shoes and socks/stockings, and stationery, ensuring that they are well-equipped to begin their educational journey in their new schools with confidence and dignity.
The Dzongkhag Administration extends its deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, for this generous and timely support. The provision of these essential items has greatly eased the transition for the affected students, while providing reassurance and comfort to their parents during a period of significant change. This thoughtful intervention reflects the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to equitable access to quality education and its steadfast dedication to safeguarding the well-being of every child, ensuring that no learner is disadvantaged by the school rationalization process.
The Pemagatshel Dzongkhag Administration sincerely acknowledges the Ministry’s continued partnership and concern for the welfare of children across the country. This meaningful initiative has strengthened trust and confidence among the affected communities, reaffirming our shared commitment to providing every child with an inclusive, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
