9th Dzongkhag Tshogdue Session of the 3rd Local Government
The 9th Dzongkhag Tshogdue Session of the 3rd Local Government was convened on March 10, 2026. The session was attended by members of the 3rd Local Government, officials from the Dzongkhag Administration and regional offices, and Hon’ble Members of Parliament.
During the session, the Dzongkhag Administration and all Gewogs presented their budget plans for the 2026–2027 financial year. Members deliberated on the proposed activities and plans, and the budgets were endorsed following detailed discussions. The deliberations also emphasized aligning the proposed plans with national priorities and development goals.
The session provided an important platform for meaningful discussions on the Dzongkhag’s development priorities and issues concerning the wellbeing of the people.
