On December 15, 2025, forty-two civil servants serving in PemaGatshel Dzongkhag were honored with prestigious medals in recognition of 10 to 30 years of dedicated service to Tsa-Wa-Sum. Among them, 24 received Bronze Medals, 13 Silver Medals, 4 Gold Medals, and 1 received a Lifetime Service Medal.
For Bronze Medal recipients, the recognition evoked mixed emotions—relief from what had often felt like a heavy workload, gratitude for the blessings of the Golden Throne, and renewed determination to serve Tsa-Wa-Sum with even greater dedication.
For Gold Medal recipients, the honor was a powerful reflection of three decades of service given under all circumstances. The years seemed to have passed swiftly, as if only yesterday, and the Gold Medal stood as a lasting symbol of their lifelong commitment.
All recipients expressed deep humility in receiving the medals and certificates from the Golden Throne and reaffirmed their pledge to continue serving Tsa-Wa-Sum with utmost dedication and loyalty.
