PemaGatshel Welcomes Hon’ble Finance Minister
His Excellency the Hon’ble Finance Minister visited Druk Migyur Dechen Dzong today and held a meeting with Gups, Sector Heads, and GAOs.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble Lyonpo outlined key initiatives undertaken by the Ministry, focusing on transformative financial reforms aimed at the nation’s long-term benefit.
The session also featured a robust Q&A, during which participants raised questions and concerns on CSM, carpooling challenges, the need for replacement of utility vehicles and ambulances, the 50% DSA on return to station, and GST-related matters. These issues were addressed with clarity and depth. Such high-level engagements are essential, as they help clarify understanding, address gaps, and ensure strong alignment with the national vision and direction.
The meeting concluded with highlights on the revised Personal Income Tax (PIT) slabs.
