Training on Food Preparation For Homestay Owners, Hoteliers and Youths.

The two weeks culinary training for homestay operators, hoteliers, and youths that was underway in PemaGatshel Dzongkhag under DLGP-II project ended today. There were 26 participants (14 male and 12 female) who participated in the training. This training was part of the Community Based Tourism (CBT) activities implemented in the first year of the three-year DLGP II project, which was funded by Helvetas, Bhutan office.
With this training, we expect better quality and variety in menu in our restaurants and hotels, along with some youth groups operating cafes and eateries across the Dzongkhag.
