The Dzongkhag Administration, Pema Gatshel observed World Environment Day on 4th June, 2018 at Pema Gatshel Middle Secondary School with the Theme "Beat Plastic Pollution" coinciding with 28th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen.

The 5th Session of Dzongkhag Tshogdu of 2nd  Local Government of Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag was conducted on 21st  May 2018. The program began with traditional offering to Zhudrey Phunsum Tshogpa followed by ceremonial Marchang.
