His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Ministry, Lyonpo Younten Phuntsho, visited PemaGatshel Dzongkhag today. After offering prayers and participating in the Zhubdrung Kuchhey prayer ceremony at the Kunrey of Druk Migyur Dechen Dzong, officials gathered offer Tashi Khadar to His Excellency on assuming the post of the Minister of an important Ministry and also being the designated Minister-Incharge of PemaGatshel and S/Jongkhar Dzongkhags.
A meeting was then held wherein Lyonpo met with the Dzongkhag officials, regional office heads and Gups of 11 Gewogs.
Lyonpo discussed the Ministry’s plans and targets for the 13th Five-Year Plan (FYP) and emphasized the importance of Ministries, Dzongkhag administration and Gewogs working collaboratively in achieving our national goals.
The Dzongkhag administration wishes Lyonpo the very best in taking the MoAL to greater heights and looks forward to His Excellency’s guidance and support in the development of PemaGatshel Dzongkhag.
