The Hon’ble Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport visited PemaGatshel today and held a meeting with sector heads, engineers and officials of regional offices.
In his interaction with officials of the Dzongkhag, Dasho underlined the need for greater synergy between central, Dzongkhag and regional offices to ensure more efficient public service delivery and holistic development. He also stressed the value of perspectives from officials at all levels as vital to meaningful reforms in the civil service and systemic changes. Dasho shared MoIT’s efforts at digitalization and stressed that strict oversight and monitoring of infrastructure works is essential to uphold quality.
A Tendrel kadar ceremony was held to celebrate Dasho’s appointment as the Secretary of an important Ministry, with our prayers for taking the MoIT to greater heights under his leadership.
